TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING AND WEBSITE USE
Last Updated: August 2026
Welcome to BridgeView. These Terms & Conditions of Booking and Website Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the BridgeView website, your reservation and stay at any BridgeView property, and your use of services, facilities, amenities, and other offerings provided or arranged by BridgeView.
These Terms are intended to apply to **BridgeView Resort, BridgeView Lakeside, BridgeView Cantonments**, and any other accommodation, hospitality, or property subsequently operated under the BridgeView name or brand (collectively, the “Properties” and individually, a “Property”).
For purposes of these Terms, “BridgeView,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the applicable BridgeView operating entity and Property providing the accommodation or service. “Guest,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person making the reservation and, where applicable, persons occupying or using the accommodation under that reservation.
By accessing our website, making a reservation, providing payment information, checking into a Property, or using our accommodations, facilities, or services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
1. RESERVATIONS AND ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
A reservation constitutes an offer by you to purchase accommodation or services from BridgeView subject to these Terms and any additional conditions disclosed during the reservation process.
A reservation becomes confirmed when BridgeView or its authorized booking provider issues a reservation confirmation.
The person making the reservation represents that he or she is at least eighteen (18) years old, has legal capacity to enter into the reservation, and is authorized to make the reservation and incur charges associated with it.
The person making the reservation is responsible for ensuring that all guests, occupants, visitors, and invitees associated with the reservation comply with these Terms and applicable Property rules.
Any specific rate conditions, cancellation provisions, occupancy restrictions, or other conditions displayed during booking or contained in your reservation confirmation are incorporated into and form part of these Terms.
Where a reservation is made through a third-party booking platform, additional terms imposed by that platform may apply. However, your conduct while at a BridgeView Property remains subject to these Terms and applicable Property rules.
2. RATES, TAXES AND FEES
Rates are quoted in the currency displayed during the reservation process.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, quoted rates may not include applicable taxes, governmental charges, service charges, security deposits, incidental charges, transportation charges, or other fees.
BridgeView reserves the right to correct typographical, technical, system-generated, or obvious pricing errors. If an incorrect rate has been displayed or communicated due to an error, BridgeView may notify the guest and provide the opportunity to accept the correct rate or cancel the affected reservation without penalty.
Promotional rates, discounted rates, packages, and special offers may be subject to additional restrictions and may be non-refundable or non-changeable.
3. PAYMENT AND AUTHORIZATION
By providing a credit card, debit card, Mobile Money account, or other payment method, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method and authorize BridgeView and its payment processors to charge amounts properly due in connection with your reservation and stay.
Depending upon the applicable rate or reservation conditions, BridgeView may charge all or part of the reservation amount before arrival.
You authorize BridgeView to charge the payment method associated with your reservation for amounts properly due under these Terms, including, where applicable:
* accommodation charges;
* applicable taxes and fees;
* authorized extensions or additional nights;
* food, beverage, transportation, activities, or other services purchased from BridgeView;
* damage to BridgeView property attributable to you, your occupants, visitors, or invitees;
* missing items attributable to the reservation;
* excessive cleaning attributable to the condition in which accommodation is left;
* smoking or other rule-violation charges where disclosed and permitted by law;
* late checkout charges;
* unpaid balances; and
* other charges expressly authorized by you or properly incurred under these Terms.
BridgeView may request additional authorization or payment if the original payment method is declined or otherwise unavailable.
---
4. CREDIT CARD AND IDENTITY VERIFICATION
BridgeView takes payment fraud seriously.
BridgeView may require the registered guest to provide valid government-issued photographic identification at or before check-in.
Where a reservation was paid for using a credit or debit card, BridgeView may require presentation of the card used to make or pay for the reservation.
The name on the payment method may be required to correspond with the guest or an authorized payer. BridgeView may conduct reasonable verification procedures to confirm that a payment method is genuine and authorized.
Where BridgeView reasonably determines that additional verification is necessary, BridgeView may request supporting information or perform a temporary authorization or nominal verification transaction.
Failure or refusal to complete reasonable identity or payment verification may result in the reservation being suspended or cancelled, or check-in being refused, subject to applicable law.
BridgeView reserves the right to refuse a payment method that reasonably appears altered, cloned, stolen, unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise suspicious.
---
## 5. FRAUDULENT OR SUSPICIOUS RESERVATIONS
BridgeView may suspend, cancel, or refuse a reservation where there are reasonable grounds to believe that:
* payment information is fraudulent or unauthorized;
* the reservation was made using stolen identity or payment information;
* information provided in connection with the reservation is materially false;
* the guest has failed reasonable identity or payment verification;
* a chargeback or payment dispute has been initiated before arrival in relation to amounts required for the reservation; or
* the reservation otherwise presents a material fraud or security concern.
BridgeView may report suspected fraud or unlawful activity to payment processors, financial institutions, booking platforms, or appropriate authorities as permitted or required by law.
---
## 6. CANCELLATIONS, MODIFICATIONS AND REFUNDS
The cancellation policy applicable to your reservation will be the policy displayed during booking, included in your reservation confirmation, or otherwise communicated to you before completion of the reservation.
Different rates and promotional offers may carry different cancellation conditions.
Certain reservations may be partially refundable, fully refundable until a specified date, or non-refundable.
Where cancellation occurs after the applicable cancellation deadline, BridgeView may retain amounts paid or charge the applicable cancellation fee in accordance with the reservation conditions.
Requests to modify dates, room or unit type, number of guests, or other reservation details are subject to availability and may result in a change in price.
Unless required by applicable law or expressly authorized by BridgeView, failure to use accommodation after the applicable cancellation deadline does not create an entitlement to a refund.
---
## 7. NO-SHOWS AND EARLY DEPARTURES
A guest who does not arrive on the scheduled arrival date and has not cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy may be treated as a no-show.
BridgeView may charge or retain amounts permitted under the applicable reservation conditions for a no-show.
Guests who voluntarily shorten their stay after check-in are not automatically entitled to a refund for unused nights. Any refund or credit will be determined in accordance with the applicable reservation conditions and mandatory law.
---
## 8. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Guests must comply with the check-in and check-out times applicable to the relevant Property.
BridgeView may require completion of registration, identity verification, payment verification, payment of outstanding amounts, and/or a security authorization before providing access to accommodation.
Early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Remaining in an accommodation beyond the authorized checkout time without BridgeView's approval may result in additional charges and appropriate action to recover possession of the accommodation, subject to applicable law.
---
## 9. OCCUPANCY, VISITORS AND USE OF ACCOMMODATION
The number of persons occupying an accommodation must not exceed the permitted occupancy established by BridgeView.
Guests may not use accommodation for unauthorized commercial activities, unlawful activities, parties, events, filming, photography for commercial purposes, or other activities materially inconsistent with normal hospitality use without BridgeView's prior approval.
Guests are responsible for the conduct of occupants, visitors, children, and invitees associated with their reservation.
BridgeView may establish reasonable visitor policies for individual Properties for security, privacy, operational, or safety purposes.
---
## 10. GUEST CONDUCT
Guests must behave in a manner that respects other guests, residents, employees, contractors, and neighboring properties.
BridgeView may refuse service, terminate a stay, remove a person from a Property, or contact appropriate authorities where reasonably necessary because of:
* violence or threats of violence;
* harassment or abusive conduct;
* illegal activity;
* theft or fraud;
* serious or repeated disturbance of other guests;
* intentional or reckless property damage;
* unauthorized parties or events;
* possession of prohibited items;
* conduct presenting a material health or safety risk; or
* a serious or repeated violation of these Terms or applicable Property rules.
Any action taken under this section will be subject to applicable law.
Termination of a stay because of serious guest misconduct does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund.
---
## 11. DAMAGE, MISSING ITEMS AND EXCESSIVE CLEANING
Guests must take reasonable care of BridgeView accommodations, furniture, equipment, fixtures, electronics, linens, amenities, and other property.
The guest responsible for the reservation may be held financially responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for damage or loss caused by that guest or persons associated with the reservation beyond ordinary wear and tear.
BridgeView may also impose reasonable charges for extraordinary cleaning necessitated by the condition in which accommodation is left, provided such charges are appropriately supported and permitted by law.
Where BridgeView charges a guest for damage, loss, or extraordinary cleaning, BridgeView may maintain photographs, inspection reports, repair invoices, replacement costs, correspondence, or other records supporting the charge.
---
## 12. SMOKING
Smoking is prohibited inside accommodations and other areas designated as non-smoking.
Where evidence reasonably establishes that smoking occurred in a prohibited area, BridgeView may impose a disclosed cleaning, deodorization, or remediation charge to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Guests are responsible for ensuring that their visitors and invitees comply with smoking restrictions.
---
## 13. SECURITY DEPOSITS AND INCIDENTAL AUTHORIZATIONS
BridgeView may require a refundable security deposit, incidental deposit, or temporary payment authorization before or during a stay.
The amount and method may vary by Property, accommodation type, reservation channel, or other legitimate operational considerations.
Any unused refundable deposit will be released or returned in accordance with BridgeView's procedures and applicable payment-network processing times.
BridgeView is not responsible for delays caused solely by a guest's financial institution after BridgeView has properly released an authorization or initiated a refund.
---
## 14. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Guests should contact BridgeView promptly if they believe that a charge is incorrect so that the matter can be investigated.
Initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute does not, by itself, extinguish an otherwise valid contractual obligation.
Where a charge is disputed, BridgeView may contest the dispute and provide information reasonably necessary to establish the validity of the transaction.
Subject to applicable privacy and data-protection laws, such information may include:
* reservation confirmations;
* payment records;
* correspondence with the guest;
* check-in or registration records;
* records of identity or payment verification;
* invoices and folios;
* records demonstrating occupancy or use of the accommodation;
* records of services requested or received;
* photographs or inspection reports relevant to disputed damage or cleaning charges; and
* other information reasonably relevant to the disputed transaction.
Nothing in this section prevents a guest from exercising legitimate rights available under applicable consumer-protection, payment-card, banking, or other laws.
BridgeView reserves all rights to recover properly owed amounts that remain unpaid following a payment dispute.
---
## 15. PROPERTY FACILITIES AND AMENITIES
Facilities and amenities vary between BridgeView Properties.
Photographs, descriptions, floor plans, amenity lists, and other website materials are intended to provide a reasonable representation of the accommodation or facilities but may not reflect every detail.
BridgeView may temporarily restrict, modify, close, repair, or replace facilities or amenities where reasonably necessary for maintenance, safety, operational requirements, governmental requirements, weather, or circumstances outside BridgeView's reasonable control.
BridgeView will use reasonable efforts to minimize material disruption to guests.
---
## 16. SWIMMING POOLS, GYMS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES
Guests using swimming pools, gyms, water activities, recreational equipment, rooftop areas, and other leisure facilities must follow posted rules and reasonable safety instructions.
Children must be appropriately supervised.
Guests should consider their own abilities and circumstances before participating in recreational activities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
---
## 17. CONCIERGE AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
BridgeView may assist guests with transportation, restaurant reservations, food delivery, tours, activities, entertainment, or other services supplied by independent third parties.
Unless BridgeView expressly identifies itself as the provider, such services are provided by independent third parties.
BridgeView may facilitate communication, reservations, orders, or payment without becoming the operator of the third-party service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BridgeView is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent third-party providers over whom BridgeView does not exercise operational control.
Nothing in this provision limits liability that applicable law does not permit BridgeView to exclude.
---
## 18. GUEST PROPERTY AND VALUABLES
Guests are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to safeguard money, jewelry, electronics, travel documents, and other valuables.
Guests should promptly report lost or stolen property to BridgeView.
BridgeView's responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged guest property is subject to applicable law and any mandatory legal obligations applicable to hospitality providers.
BridgeView does not accept responsibility for property left behind after departure except to the extent required by law.
BridgeView may establish reasonable procedures and retention periods for lost-and-found property.
---
## 19. SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS
BridgeView will use reasonable efforts to maintain utilities and services provided as part of the accommodation.
However, interruptions may occasionally occur in electricity, water, internet, television, telecommunications, air conditioning, elevators, or other building systems.
Where an interruption is caused by circumstances outside BridgeView's reasonable control, BridgeView will use reasonable efforts to address or mitigate the interruption but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of every service.
---
## 20. FORCE MAJEURE AND EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
BridgeView will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing an obligation where performance is prevented or materially affected by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flooding, governmental action, civil disturbance, war, terrorism, epidemics, pandemics, labor disruption, utility failure, telecommunications failure, transportation disruption, or other comparable events beyond BridgeView's reasonable control.
Where reasonably practicable, BridgeView may offer alternative accommodation, revised dates, credits, or other appropriate remedies depending upon the circumstances and applicable law.
---
## 21. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BridgeView will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website, accommodation, facilities, or services where such losses were not reasonably foreseeable or are not legally recoverable.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
* death or personal injury to the extent caused by negligence where such liability cannot legally be excluded;
* fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
* willful misconduct; or
* any other liability that applicable law prohibits BridgeView from excluding or limiting.
These Terms must be interpreted subject to mandatory rights and protections provided by applicable law.
---
22. WEBSITE USE
You may use the BridgeView website only for lawful purposes.
You must not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website, gain unauthorized access to systems or information, introduce malicious software, use automated systems in a manner that materially interferes with website operation, or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
BridgeView may restrict or terminate access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect BridgeView, its systems, its guests, or third parties.
23. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the BridgeView name, trademarks, logos, photographs, graphics, designs, text, website content, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to BridgeView.
All applicable intellectual-property rights are reserved.
You may access and use website materials for personal, non-commercial purposes associated with evaluating or purchasing BridgeView services.
Without prior written permission, you may not materially reproduce, republish, sell, license, distribute, commercially exploit, or falsely represent BridgeView's proprietary content as your own.
Nothing in these Terms grants any license to use the BridgeView name, trademarks, logos, or branding in a manner suggesting sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization where none exists.
24. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The BridgeView website may contain links to third-party websites or services for convenience.
BridgeView does not necessarily control or endorse third-party websites merely because a link appears on our website.
Use of third-party websites is subject to the applicable third party's terms and privacy practices.
25. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
BridgeView may collect and process personal information in connection with reservations, payments, guest services, security, fraud prevention, customer communications, and operation of its Properties.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with BridgeView's Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
Information may be disclosed to service providers, payment processors, booking platforms, financial institutions, professional advisers, governmental authorities, or other persons where reasonably necessary to provide services, process transactions, protect legal rights, prevent fraud, comply with law, or resolve disputes.
26. COOKIES
The BridgeView website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website usage, improve functionality, and support other legitimate purposes described in our Privacy Policy or cookie notice.
Where required by applicable law, users will be provided with appropriate choices concerning non-essential cookies.
27. WEBSITE INFORMATION
BridgeView endeavors to ensure that information displayed on its website is accurate.
However, photographs, descriptions, dimensions, availability, pricing, facilities, and other information may occasionally contain errors or may change.
BridgeView may correct errors and update website information at any time.
Nothing in this section affects a guest's mandatory rights under applicable law.
28. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any reservation or accommodation agreement with BridgeView shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the **laws of the Republic of Ghana**, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection or other rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
29. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Guests are encouraged to contact BridgeView first regarding any complaint or dispute so that BridgeView has a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties retain all rights and remedies available under applicable law.
Subject to any mandatory jurisdictional or consumer-protection requirements, disputes arising from these Terms, a reservation, or a stay at a BridgeView Property shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Ghana.
30. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permissible.
If modification is not possible, the affected provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
31. NO WAIVER
A failure or delay by BridgeView in exercising any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
A waiver relating to one particular circumstance does not constitute a continuing waiver or a waiver relating to another circumstance.
32. ENTIRE AGREEMENT AND ORDER OF PRECEDENCE
These Terms, together with the applicable reservation confirmation, rate conditions, Privacy Policy, and any Property-specific rules communicated to the guest, constitute the terms applicable to the reservation and stay.
If a specific condition in a reservation confirmation or rate plan conflicts with a general provision of these Terms concerning pricing, payment, cancellation, or reservation conditions, the specific condition disclosed for that reservation will control to the extent of the conflict.
Nothing in this section excludes representations or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
33. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
BridgeView may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes will become effective when published on the website or on a later effective date stated in the updated Terms.
Unless required by law, a material change made after a reservation has been confirmed will not retroactively alter the material financial terms of that confirmed reservation.
The version applicable to a reservation will generally be the version in effect when the reservation was made, together with any subsequently agreed modifications.
